We love sharing good news about Shaka Rising! This month, the book was shortlisted for a NOMMO Award in the graphic novel category. The NOMMO Awards are presented by the African Speculative Fiction Society and honor speculative fiction by Africans. Shaka Rising joins 10 others works in this category, which includes graphic novels with subjects ranging from superhero tales to history. It is an incredible collection of authors and illustrators, and we couldn’t be more excited to be nominated. Congratulations to Luke and Mason, and to all of the nominees.
